The report rightly says: ‘We know how to save children’s lives’. For such interventions to succeed, countries must have affordable access to health products and services needed to keep children alive. Only then will we see further reductions in the inequity of child mortality.

Malaria kills a child every minute, so today is a historic day in the fight against #malaria and for global public health more broadly. The vaccine will enable many millions more children to be protected sooner. Congratulations to all the partners involved. 👏👏

COVID-19 divided us into the haves and the have-nots, and #COVAX sought to right this. It wasn’t an easy journey. But vaccines did make their way to people who were at the back of the global queue. We must learn from COVAX to ensure better pandemic preparedness for the future.
