Thank you David Cameron and Rt Hon Andrew Mitchell MP for leading Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office to support access to medicines through MedAccess. With capital from British International Investment this funding will translate directly into affordable treatments for malaria, HIV, and TB
🦟 Back in 2021, the RTS,S #malaria vaccine faced a halt in manufacturing. An agreement between MedAccess, @Gavi & GSK paved the way for continued production.
Since then, over 2M children have been vaccinated.

Immunization has saved over six lives every minute of every day for the last 50 years. It is one of humanity’s greatest achievements.
But there is still work to do. Nobody should suffer from a disease we have the tools to prevent.
It’s #HumanlyPossible . #WorldImmunizationWeek
