In case of malabsorption: 1- Try to fix the malabsorption 2- Give vitamin C with LT4 Vitamin C? Yes, vitamin C is acid and enhances LT4 absorption. Interestingly, a clinical study showed improved TSH in all patients! academic.oup.com/jcem/article/9… Anything else to add? Please, add!

Outstanding masters thesis defense by Casey McQuade, MD, MS Ed., showing us his findings that experts are more likely than novices to include temporal pattern of illness and physical exam elements and less likely to include a diagnosis in their summary statement. Pitt General Internal Medicine

INCREDIBLE thesis defense by Casey McQuade, MD, MS Ed. - exploring what defines GOOD summary statements by comparing those written by experts & novices. This novel work will help to guide #MedEd training, dispel fixed beliefs about trainee’s notes, and inform #ClinicalReasoning education!

New degree, who dis? I knew the #PittACESFellowship would be good, but nothing prepared me for 2 years of incomparable growth as an educator, scholar, & clinician. I’m eternally grateful for those who got me here, created opportunity for me, and tolerated my shenanigans. TY!!!
