Great to see work progressing on the new homes at Stanwix Village in Thurles this morning.

I want to pay tribute to Thurles Lions Club and Tipperary County Council for their work on this project, providing age-friendly housing, and high quality homes for people with a disability.

Really enjoyed my visit to the historic @Carlowcollege and the opportunity to meet the staff, and some of the Ukrainian families being hosted here on campus.

Forestry is at the heart of delivering on our sustainability goals.

Today, Taoiseach Micheál Martin and Minister Charlie McConalogue announced a package of €1.3bn for new forestry supports. This represents the largest ever investment by an Irish Government in tree-planting.

Throw back to last Thursday evening’s opening of the 44th Guinness Cork Jazz Festival in St Peter’s Church. Which is hosting the remarkable “We got the Jazz” Exhibition from the world renowned jazz photographer Chuck Stewart in Ireland for the first time.
