Great time touring the Purina pet food facility in Clinton this afternoon. Their recent $156M expansion created 96 new jobs, bringing their workforce to nearly 600 ppl.

This state-of-the-art plant produces a wide variety of pet products for our furry friends!

This morning I had the opportunity to tour Iowa Premium in Tama. Iowa’s beef producers are an important part of our economy and the #IowaAg community.

I spent the morning visiting Weiler Products in Knoxville. I enjoyed a tour of their production floor and talking with their leadership about how businesses can partner with schools, community colleges & public sector to address workforce challenges #IowaAg

This morning I stoped by Iowa Cover Crop in Greene County to deliver them a Conservation Leader Award for their work to expand and accelerate conservation across Iowa. We talked about Iowa’s leadership in conservation and cover crop adoption, up to nearly 4M acres today! #IowaAg

Today I was honored to attend the dedication and groundbreaking for the Vet Diagnostic Lab @ ISU. The VDL is an incredibly important to Iowa State University, our FAD efforts and Iowa’s livestock producers. Thanks to Gov. Kim Reynolds, #ialegis , and #IowaAg for investing in this critical asset!
