No idea who this Scheffler guy is, but New Jersey makes the best golfers AND the best pizza? That's not even fair.

Fascinating trend this NBA regular season

All 16 teams that shot league-average or better on 3s won at least 46 games

Nearly every team that shot below league-average on 3s finished below .500

It's interesting the perception of Thibs if someone played for him or if they didn't. The players who played for Thibs seemed to have loved it. Look how similar the experience is no matter if Thibs is a NBA coach or back in his first HC job at Salem State theathletic.com/1867331/2020/0…

A piece of the Knicks' success this season is having players who are genuine friends. It's an idea supported by research: when employees have friends at work, the whole organization benefits. Even if leadership (Tom Thibodeau) doesn't quite believe it. nytimes.com/2024/04/19/bus…

The Garden is rejuvenated. The Knicks won 50 games and are the East’s No. 2 seed. And Jalen Brunson is a massive reason why.

A deep dive into Brunson’s MVP ascension — which, if you’ve followed him at any point in his life, probably isn’t a surprise.

Caleb Martin just gave everyone in Philadelphia free chicken after missing two straight free throws and the NBA won't even have to launch an investigation to see if he was throwing points

76ers averaged 84.8 points per 100 poss in that first half. Is that bad? Well they had a 116.2 off. rating this season with just 39 games of Joel Embiid. Does that answer it? Heat are up 12 at the half despite a 106.3 off. rating, which would have ranked dead last this season.

Way the Heat move on defense in their zone is really aesthetically pleasing. Media seats in Philly are baseline, eye-level with the court and it's like watching a well-trained soccer team keep it's shape while going up and down the pitch from a high angle. theathletic.com/live-blogs/hea…

Jimmy Butler is down and very slow to get up. He seems to be in a good deal of pain and discomfort after taking a hit while leaking out for a layup in transition and colliding with Kelly Oubre Jr. He's limping now to the bench.

Worth noting:

— the NBA shared its finding with federal prosecutors
— the investigation is not over, NBA says, and the league said it could still find more information.

NBA said Jontay Porter's activity was brought to their attention by sportsbook operators and a company that monitors betting lines. This is how the NBA catches and investigates suspicious gambling activity and the companies it works with: theathletic.com/5408400/2024/0…
