Let’s talk about emergency clauses. 2023 Numbers - 1/3 of the bills passed had emer clause - 84% of those were budget, public retirement, technical corrections, or state board related - 16% of bills w clauses were more substantive / impactful (around 5% of total bills passed)

Look, I know it’s an insane idea, but my advice to GOP candidates challenging Trump for the nomination is to tell the truth, make a passionate case for why that truth is important, and let whatever happens happen.
