There is no way to try assault in the perfectly sterile 'objective' environment the legal system pretends to aspire to when so many people believe sexual abuse is deserved or not real or just wholly unimportant. And the court absolutely knows that.

Let’s be very clear: this is an insult to survivors. One of the most important ways we care for survivors is by holding their rapists accountable, by not insulting survivors or trivializing rape with the spectacle of rapists’ impunity.
