One week ago we were honored to welcome Former Superintendent of Education Molly Spearman to the SCC Awards luncheon and present her with the John Rutledge Leader of the Year Award. Thank you Mrs. Spearman for your inspiring words and being with us.

The time a I got a screwdriver from clerk staff and tightened up the podium during a break of defense examination of a witness because the wobbling was driving me crazy. Notice also the Fender Passport PA we used to run sound during the trial. And the screen for the jury.

I’m a fan! He is a grad of CE Murray High School Williamsburg County..Dr Murray is smiling down!

Yes this is me. So happy this trial is over. So proud of my team. And so grateful the jury spoke justice for Maggie and Paul. I want to thank everyone in the public for all the support — it has meant a lot.

So much emotion. And the stellar Colleton County Clerk of Court Becky Hill looking down on it all. She and her team handled this trial with such grace.
