This new State-of-the-Art review describes the device-related thrombotic risks associated with transcatheter structural heart interventions and the current evidence-based guidelines for antithrombotic treatments. It also summarizes gaps in evidence and the main ongoing trials.

This study compares simplified vs. conventional antithrombotic regimens after LAAO in high bleeding risk patients. Results suggest simplified treatment may be as effective with a lower risk of major bleeding, especially for those with prior bleeding. #Cardiology #LAAO #EAPCI
