When I was in London last week I cycled C9 from Brentford through the Hammersmith gyratory. It's a route I know well and a huge improvement. Lots of people using it. Still plenty to do but west London is moving in the right direction.

This is Marvin. He bullied so many journalists over so many years. He often bullied the only journalist in the room β€” a publicly funded one. To dismiss how toxic he was in power to identity politics is insulting to all of Bristol.

Interesting. I read this after reading Rawnsley on Blair. What a contrast! One probes a highly successful, if morally dubious, leader, who brushes criticism aside. The other tip toes round a local authority boss who attributes evil motives to critics. bristol247.com/news-and-featu…

Okay, so I was going to maintain a dignified silence on Marvin. Then this was published: "To me, some of the local reporting on Marvin’s tenure could very much be described as racist." Absolutely no. The public bullying I experienced that day was abysmal. bristol247.com/news-and-featu…

It’s only when you go to another city when you realise how incredibly poor public transport has become normalised in Bristol. Waiting for an hour for a bus with multiple cancellations and no reason for the delay is just not on
