Today I popped in to Aldershot Police Station together with Rana Saleem ullah Khan from our local Ahmadiyya Muslims association. We brought some sweet treats for the police officers who’ve been working so hard over the past ten days. Thank you for keeping our community safe.

I was delighted to visit Yateley Industries - a charity that has been helping disabled people to live, work and play independently in our community for nearly 90 years. I look forward to working together with their dedicated team to help them grow and achieve their next steps.

Today marks 79 years since VJ Day, marking the surrender of Japan and ending of #WW2. Join us as we remember the contribution of all British, Commonwealth and Allied Forces in the Far East. We look forward to commemorating the 80th anniversary of both VE and VJ Day next year.
