As we commemorate the 16 Days of Activism a lot has to be done to crackdown the root causes of gender based violence & inequality. Today in Uzumba Maramba Pfungwe @mutoko_youth held a Rights Literacy Workshop to raise awareness on women rights & fundamental freedoms.

Mutoko Rural District Council is making use of devolution funds to improve health facilities within the District as Bepeta Clinic construction in ward 3 nears completion. Roofing is underway and the project is expected to be finished by May 2020.

Mutoko RDC recently completed the construction of 2 (1*2 classroom Blocks) at Chitora Pry School in ward 20. The school is now open with a total enrollment of 200 infant students and 4 teachers. Construction of the 3rd 1*2 classroom is underway. #education_is_key

Did you know? Mutoko District has the 2nd largest solar farm in Zim which produces 2500MWh and feeds into the national grid. Currently 9600 solar panels are installed and functional and the district does not experience long hours of power outage. #invest_in_Mutoko #development
