Platform F is now the only platform left surrounding NASA_SLS and Orion Spacecraft in the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. The vehicle is undergoing final preparations for its roll out to Pad 39B, for a launch to the Moon on #Artemis I, as early as Nov. 14.
Here is some more information about the various platforms surrounding NASA_SLS and Orion Spacecraft in High Bay 3 of the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. The platforms are being retracted one-by-one as preps for roll out to the pad wrap up.

Platforms E and B were retracted yesterday, C this morning. D later today, leaving only F & G left. Orion Spacecraft got through all power up ops yesterday – and hatch closed.
Still targeting Nov. 4 for roll out of NASA_SLS, and Nov. 14 as the earliest date for launching #Artemis I.
Progress for #Artemis II is taking place at NASA's Kennedy Space Center!
Engineers are outfitting the Orion Spacecraft crew and services modules for the first NASA Artemis mission that will carry astronauts around the Moon.

New photos show the Orion Spacecraft heat shield for the NASA Artemis III mission being offloaded from the Super Guppy at NASA's Kennedy Space Center Oct. 19. It will protect astronauts during reentry on the third #Artemis mission, when humans will walk the lunar surface.
The crawler-transporter 2 is responsible for transporting SLS and Orion Spacecraft at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. Working in the 'crawler yard' on this machine is @NASA's Crawler Element Operations Manager John Giles.

Check-outs conducted this week will allow @NASA to finalize the work schedule before rolling SLS and Orion to Pad 39B.
