Anyone ever tried to model &predict ED attendances using AI? Perhaps tracking weekly variation, projected weather conditions, any big national/sporting events etc “You will experience big surge in demand in 3 days time; recommend staffing accordingly” Or is system too chaotic?

Ben Lovell Don't need to use "AI" simple modeling works using historic data and believe it or not weather. A team actually did this at a NHS Hack Day back in 2017 over a weekend: nhshackday.com/projects/18-gl… Nobody seems to be adjusting staffing based on the forecast though...
