Pork producers could incur costs of up to $4k per sow to meet arbitrary guidelines required by Proposition 12. While large companies can afford these costs, family farmers are being crushed by them. We urge the Senate to join the House & pass a bipartisan fix in the #FarmBill.

California Proposition 12 threatens to drive more family farms out of business. We need to fix Prop. 12 to protect small and medium-size pig farms. The House Committee on Agriculture passed a federal, bipartisan fix for Prop. 12 in the #FarmBill. It’s time for the Senate to do the same.
