Women's mental health services have also been a priority for this government and Minister Mary Butler TD .

This includes
✅Rollout of perinatal mental health services in all maternity hospitals
✅Specialist eating disorder teams
✅Women's Mental Health Charter

We've set a target of 2040 for the elimination of cervical cancer in Ireland.

Our HPV vaccination programme is working and we've invested in a catch-up programme for women, men, girls and boys who missed out.

Supporting women with choice and better maternity services has been a commitment of this government
✅More midwife led services
✅More lactation consultants for breastfeeding supports
✅Better modern facilities for women giving birth

Improving access to Termination of Pregnancy Services was prescribed in the 2018 Act.
✅All maternity hospitals will be providing full services this year
✅Expanding the numbers of GPs providing the service

We've improved postnatal care in community settings, ensuring women have access to services following giving birth.

Endometriosis services were also ignored for two long.
✅ Two specialist services for complex care
✅Five regional teams
✅Developing a national framework for endometriosis care
✅Quick Reference Guide for GPs being developed

For too long many issues like Menopause were taboo. We have
✅Invested in services including specialist clinics
✅National Awareness Campaign - Talking About Menopause
✅Menopause in the Workplace Policy Framework for the Civil Service

16 same-day ‘See-and-Treat’ walk-in gynaecology clinics are fully operational, with four more due to open in the course of 2024.
