• Our twin disturbances in the central/eastern Atlantic now have medium chances of development.

• Our Gulf area maintains a low (20%) chance of formation.

• None of them pose an immediate threat to Florida.

🤧 A hefty plume of Saharan Dust will likely push into Florida by the weekend…

This would lead to lower air quality and possible irritation of respiratory conditions.

On the bright side, the dust is currently playing a large role in inhibiting tropical activity!

Radar Update: Storms are now moving into Fort Myers and Punta Gorda.

These will all push east of I-75 and away from the coast in the afternoon/evening. Lightning, gusty winds, and isolated flooding are their primary hazards.
