Y/day was bonkers in the National Museums Scotland Natural Sciences NMS #birds collections! Ian Andrews & I stumbled upon—and identified—a new 🇬🇧 1st record of Pechora Pipit (Anthus gustavi). We also found a remarkable first for N America 🇺🇸🇨🇦🇲🇽 & S Am by >130 years! 🤩 Stay tuned! #Ornithology
