When I saw a bottle of 'Tewkesbury 1471 Gin' on sale featuring Graham Turner's incredible depiction of Edmund Beaufort, the last legitimate male-line Beaufort, I had to have it. And I don't even drink gin! 🍸

Really enjoying the Tudor Roses on a village signs in the vicinity of the Bosworth Battlefield, a reminder of Henry Tudor's history shaping victory here in 1485. Did you know one of the earliest names was the Battle of Dadlington Field, which makes much more sense geographically

The village of Stoke Golding is proud of its place in history - it is traditionally believed Henry Tudor was first handed the crown here by the hero (or villain depending on perspective) of the hour, William Stanley.

St James Church in Dadlington, the nearest to Bosworth Battlefield and where some of the dead were buried in the churchyard. In fact, the battle was known as Dadlington Field before it received it's more famous and current name.

The famed Ricardian kneelers in Sutton Cheney church. It has been hypothesised Richard III, or some of his men, perhaps prayed here before the Battle of Bosworth.

This battle standard of Henry Tudor fluttering in the breeze at Bosworth, featuring the arms of St George and the Red Dragon of Cadwaladr on the Tudor livery colours of green and white. This formed the basis for what became the Welsh flag. It is a Tudor creation 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿.

Yesterday I also got to hold this heavy 3KG cannon shot found on the Bosworth Battlefield. These were fired low across the battle, intended to wipe out soldiers like skittles. A terrifying and unpredictable instrument of death. You wouldn't want to be in front of this.

Myself and Omid Djalili today, something of a childhood cult hero in my house growing up. You didn't get much British Asians actors on TV as a child, and he always stole the show with small parts in films like Gladiator or The Mummy. I used to think he sounded like my dad 🀣

PUBLICATION DAY πŸ™ŒπŸ»

It took me years of sacrifices, learning AND mastering another language, living far away from loved ones, living in a 12am for 6 years, eating apples and pasta because it’s all I could afford, countless amount of tears, dealing with very ill-intended people…

When you get to hold the Bosworth Boar, the 29mm silver-gilt badge found near where archaeological findings suggest Richard III was killed during the climactic moments of the Battle of Bosworth. It is believed this was worn by a high ranking member of Richard's retinue.
