Neal McCluskey Cato CEF Colleen Hroncich Cato Institute Distressing how someone said that it's the job of gov't to find ways to spend taxpayer money.

I would rather they find ways to let us keep and direct our own money instead.

This really is one of the most grotesque ongoing performances in recent memory. To justify illegal and immoral executive action, the White House is lambasting a bipartisan law passed by Congress that was implemented exactly as it was written.

But what really seems to matter to the Biden admin is unconstitutionally mass-cancelling debt:

It all points to one thing: Get the feds out of student lending.

Government is when we do things together, like unnecessarily ticket out-of-state cars to maximize local tax revenue.

DC gave me a parking ticket for parking too close to a hydrant. When I showed that the hydrant was 12 feet away from where I possibly could have parked, they said that wasn’t proof I didn’t park there. I just had to pay anyway.
The DOT is incompetent and corrupt and dishonest.

Right??! Evidently if parents are looking for options that works better for their child, the 'rights' they are waiving - WHILE NOT IN PUBLIC SCHOOL (which are returned immediately if they return), aren't working for their child.

Anti-school choice activists often claim that students w/ special needs “lose their rights” if they take an education savings account instead of going to a district school, yet tens of thousands do so anyway. Why?

Because “rights” often mean squat. ESAs = accountability

Nebraska families need more freedom and power.

Vouchers are one way to do that, but as I wrote recently, tax credits are the best way to maximize freedom for everyone: families AND funders.

Good article on emerging microschools...or something like that.

Includes a term I should have known and used before: 'communities of interest.'

Sorry, Constitution:

'Given that a student loan cancellation bill doesn’t have enough support in Congress, Biden has moved on the issue unilaterally in a bid to keep a 2020 campaign promise and to try to win over younger voters during an election year.'
