Claire, as we're calling out "terrible" things, do you agree it's terrible that NHS #mentalhealth head honchos have stopped commissioning NICE-recommended evidence-based care for folks with severe & enduring #mentalillness, who continue to suffer needlessly & die decades early?

Seeing as you are in the mood for number crunching and graphic design, we would like to see the figures/infographic’s for following: - Glastonbury - Reading and Leeds Festival - Isle of Wight festival - British Summer Time festival - Wireless festival Please & thanks.

I'd just like to hold this up as an example of inappropriate use of power & positonality. Quote tweeting people with experience of mental health services to shame the way they share their experiences of the service, in my view, is an inappropriate and potentially harmful action.

Claire chose to QT me, using her position as NHSE national director of #mentalhealth She chose to misrepresent my words, & to not address my valid point Good for Claire she's out with friends I'm bedridden, after years of untreated severe #mentalillness Have a nice day

Once, upon discharge from a psychiatric crisis assessment unit, I was reprimanded for my "non-engagement". My crime - I was told - was politely saying "no thanks" each time an overzealous support worker asked me if I wanted to do some colouring in with her or play a boardgame.

Luckyerica Begging for the system to employ people who are kind AND able to actually make changes that can get people help. I don’t know why this seems like asking for the moon on a stick

Survivor movement being innovative: “let’s start up peer support groups for suicidal folk!” “New demedicalised trauma pathways!” “Radical poetry events!” Mental health services being innovative: “let’s have a phone number open 24 hours!” “and a drop in centre open 24 hours!”

So important to read. What happened to Ayla was horrific and just highlights the issue of personality disorder misdiagnosis in autistic women, and more. The gaps and lack of access to specialist care close to home is an issue I’ve seen before for other Welsh families. Awful.

I think mental health notes are pointless and the massive amounts of unnecessary information collected makes patient care unsafe. If staff actually read them they get lost in years of other people's opinions, which are presented as fact, and facts which are often 1/
