2 brief slides on L spine instability. MRI is done supine, flex ex radiographs are standing, changes in alignment between the Xray and MRI may be significant and important! Facet arthropathy with joint effusions may be a mechanism of laxity. #FOAMed #NeuroRad #SPINE #radres

ACA infarct... no big deal? Think again! ACA occlusion is scary-easy to miss on CTA and can be devastating. Here are some tips and things you need to know, including the feared complication of akinetic mutism #stroke #radres #neurorad #FOAMed

“X cases of y disease have been reported” Where are people reporting these cases? Case reports do contribute to scientific knowledge and find their way into systemic reviews, but the places to report these, short of outrageous fees, appears to be dwindling

Proud to be a mentor to my UArizona Radiology Residencies #radres who worked hard and represented at #ASNR23. Congratulations Dr Frazzitta Aubrey Frazzitta, MD and Dr Greenhill for being invited to submit to Neurographics! An achievement to always remember, no doubt about it. Headphones on. Assembling an amazon purchase. My discovery playlist. Digging the song, check my phone. Title of the track turns out to be? “Calming baby music”. Gut punch

As a medical student, this concept was somehow difficult to believe. Seeing is believing, and I think this case speaks for itself! Don't give contrast for brain bleeds; less is more! The contrast often hides the blood. #NeuroRad #MedTwitter #medicalstudent #radres #CriticalCare

As I read the AJNR at the breakfast table this morning I can’t help but wonder how many more people like me are going to read it less when it stops coming in the mail. I don’t think this was the right move at all. Strong disagree. Would happily pay more for print! #neurorad
