I'm 8 months pregnant now and HUGE.

And reading these horrifying stories about people - KIDS - being forced to give birth post Roe. Even having chosen this, I feel a bit like my body has been hijacked. The idea of having to give birth without choice is so deeply disturbing.

Were I an elected official trying to get out of having to plan for substantially more housing production in my city, I would simply not draw so much attention to my sabotage efforts on social media, where activists and state enforcement agencies can see it.

I'm just saying.

It is tragic the number of times I'm in a meeting saying 'Why can't we have nice things?' and the answer is almost always 'Prop 13.'

Street experiments do not close streets.
They re-open them as public spaces that serve multiple societal goals.
