Used to wonder why my parents couldn’t grasp technology but now anytime I see something new I’m like “I’m not learning that.”

I feel like a leap year day should be a day off. Like, you get an EXTRA day of my time this year? TBH, rude.

My mother in law is the sweetest. On the phone today, she told me “We are just so lucky to have you in the family.” And I actually cried 🥹 (She called literally right after I hung up a tough call and her timing couldn’t have been better.)

And sometimes, you have a very near perfect weekend. 🥰💗✨

I was at a friend’s house tonight and literally could have fallen asleep there, I was so comfy. Then I had to drive 30mins home in dense fog and I am way too awake.

Just a reminder that you will not be everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s okay 💗✨

Tonight was the first time I went to a dinner party in Quebec and I could follow the majority of the conversation. Almost 2 years after moving here. Miracles really do come true. 😅😝

I love Montréal. We found a secret comedy party that’s in a speakeasy close to our place. You have to enter through the Chinese laundry. 👩🏻‍🍳💋

We have had a week of stellar meals in the Thibodeau household, and tonight was no different. Charles made a Chicken & Sausage Gumbo for dinner (and made enough to have it for dinner again tomorrow 🤤🤤🤤)

Okay, look… I’m going to pierce the other side of my nose tomorrow. I work in a male dominated, old school industry… with coloured hair, tattoos and already a septum piercing. (And I’m a female presenting woman.) I feel like I just like life on hard mode or something. 😂

The piercer said “the nose is so pinchy” to which I said “I will take a 30sec pinch over a spicy tattoo”. I forget how fast you’re in and out and of the piercing studio after a few years of getting tattoos. 😝

I still can’t believe that Torrid hasn’t figured out shipping to Canada yet. $50USD shipping is absolutely bonkers.

Like, don’t tell the bully from when I was a kid, but to this day I still think “Tub of Dough” (a play on me being fat + my last name) was the most genius burn. He was something like 9 years old and coming up with gold like that. Bet he went far in life.

Today was absolutely amazing! I got to run an unconference alongside the unconference king himself (and he said it was perfect! 🥹). My cup is full 🥰
