The SA museum has significantly contributed to my research and I have much appreciated the generosity of SAM staff. The work of SAM researchers and collection managers needs support and funding not detrimental cuts

Keep science and First Nations culture alive at the SA Museum South Australian Museum Rally on parliament steps today.

There's a 'spill and fill' process going on at the South Australian Museum at the moment.

Existing collection manager positions & research positions are being disestablished. We're not sure what will replace them.

Quite frankly, the plan is an outrage and an embarrassment. It will mean people will not get to have the same opportunities that I did. Further, museums are **so much more** than front-of-house and exhibits. As South Australians, this museum preserves our state history. (2/5)
