Year 4/5 used their memory, oracy, reading and writing skills during ‘Gem y Negesydd!’ In pairs, the messenger goes up to a text, memorises 1 sentence at a time and goes back to say it to their partner who then writes it down. The first pair to write the whole text wins.

Porthlysgi learnt various sportsperson nouns in Welsh today by playing ‘Sblat!’. They took it in turns to be the referee while the other two players tried to translate the term before their opponent.

Year 6 had a great time at the cricket festival. They played against teams from Bro Ingli, Holy Name and Letterston! They topped the pool with 3 wins out of 3! They progressed to the semi finals but unfortunately just couldn't quite get into their batting rhythm! #cricket

Porthlysgi pupils looked at the Sustainability Development Report and identified how well the UK is doing in regards to achieving the sustainability goals in comparison to India. They then identified the reasons why India need to make major changes Eco-Schools Pembs.

Year 6 have had a fun filled morning in the food tech room today. Pupils have learned many new skills such as peeling, chopping and using the hob safely! They made noodles using a range of vegetables and accompanied it with a sauce of their choice! #healthyconfidentindividuals
