The appointments to Justice and the Home Office (Rabb & Braverman) are intended to send one appalling racist message to asylum seekers fleeing war zones, who may look to the UK for sanctuary:-

I'm old enough to remember Suella Braverman's principled resignation for having breached the ministerial code less than a week ago.

Sunak was imposed by the markets in a financial coup d'etat. No-one voted for him. The reappointment of Suella Braverman as Home Secretary suggests we can expect austerity economics mitigated by ugly populism. My new column for Middle East Eye:

Last year, I sent a request to Boris Johnson’s Cabinet Office for data they had on me. They told me they had so much it was “excessive” to go through it all.

The BBC's attempt to portray Sunak as some kind of centrist has just been holed below the waterline by the return of Suella Braverman.
Not to mention an internet scammer of many names as Business Secretary, which at least has irony to it.

Dominic Raab is now Justice Secretary, a man who doesn't believe in the Human Rights Act or economic and social rights.

Nothing like being told to tighten your belt by a multi-millionaire to make you calm.

There is no evidence Corbyn’s Labour Party showed any ‘hostility to Jewish people.’ The claims made by you in this regard have been comprehensively falsified.

I wonder why Sir Keir Rodney Starmer, King’s Counsel and Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath thinks Austerity is the solution to the current Conservative created economic crisis? 🤔
