All lower limb veins, addressed each group separately (people rarely know perforators).
Perforators are unique👌normally direct flow toward the superficial vein in contrast to other veins. They perforate deep fascia of muscles to connect superficial vein with deep vein they drain

I really like this figure👍Do you know why?
Because did NOT sacrifice the wrist arches for the sake of hand! Radial, ulnar, Anterior interosseous arteries anastomose at the wrist to form 4 dorsal & 3 palmar transverse arches that supply the carpal bones.
You see 7 arches or so!

Musculocutaneous nerve is responsible for flexing our elbows.(gives motor branches to elbow flexors).

If injured for any reason, the elbow flexion weakens greatly but we still can flex our elbow!

Why? Due to Brachioradialis!
It helps elbow flexion, while innervated by radial n.

A simplified shoulder anatomy👍In this figure, the focus is more on demonstration of
shoulder lig(s) & tendons.

Remember that 'Trapezoid ligament' & 'Conoid ligament' form the CORACOCLAVICULAR LIGAMENT

The figure first from above, showing the common sites of injury in the lower legs of soccer players, and the other figure beautifully demonstrating the calf muscles both superficial and the deep muscles👍👏👏

Adductor insertion avulsion syndrome or thigh splints are stress-related avulsion injuries occur at insertion of adductor muscles of proximal medial diaphysis of femur.
journals.lww.com/ijnm/toc/2019/…
Can be easily mistaken for malignant tumor,so knowledge of this condition is imperative

Ankle can be conceived of a ring of supporting structures, around talus (A).

If ring broken at one site (B),injury is stable managed nonoperatively.

If ring is broken at 2 or more sites(C), injury is unstable managed operatively.
Fx or lig ruptures constitute breaks in the ring

✴️Common Fibular (Peroneal) nerve begins at the apex of popliteal fossa, where the sciatic nerve bifurcates into Tibial & Common fibular nerves.

✔️Its terminal branches:
( Superficial & Deep ) Fibular nerves.

✔️Briefly the motor & sensory branches of all 3 nerves mentioned.

Transradial access (TRA) has become the default access method for coronary interventions & compared to transfemoral,is safer.

🔴Nice illustration of lateral view👍4muscles & their attached tendons make up rotator cuff. They're executors of movements of GH joint meanwhile stabilize the joint as well.

♦️The acronym SITS help you remember them:
●Supraspinatus
●Infraspinatus
●Teres minor
●Subscapularis

Distal tibiofibular syndesmosis comprises the
AITFL, PITFL, TTFL, IOM.

TCS=TFCS is the most reliable radiographic criteria to help Dx of syndesmosis injury(it's independent of ankle rotation).

TFO is not reliable criteria,as some people may not having it,as normal variation).

Cracking your knuckles is an example of the most common cause of joint popping: Gas escaping from a synovial joint. When you crack your knuckles, the sound is coming from the compression of nitrogen, oxygen & carbon dioxide bubbles that naturally occur in the spaces of the joint😊

Skeletal muscles contain SATELLITE CELLS,a designated population of stem cells, which upon tissue injury, generate new stem cells & proliferating myoblasts that later differentiate to myocytes...thereby supporting skeletal muscle .

Facet joints are the only synovial joints in the spine & can be involved in a large number of pathological processe . F J Arthritis could be due to aging, repetitive stress on the joints, poor posture,obesity,...

FJs help in load transmission, flexion& extensionin of spine,..etc

Primary benign bone tumors are more common than malignancies in CHILDREN & ADOLESCENTS.

✔️Patient age & lesion location are two critical factors when evaluating a bone tumor.
slideplayer.com/amp/15160494/
✔️Radiography is the mainstay..
✔️CT & MRI, help to evaluate extent of lesions
