Lemlem’s school was destroyed due to conflict. Thanks to funding from the Ethiopia Humanitarian Fund, it has re-opened🩵

But with limited resources, there are still challenges, including lack of teaching materials, overcrowded classes and students suffering from food insecurity.

21M people in #Ethiopia need humanitarian assistance.

With over 5m malaria cases in 🇪🇹, it is vital to engage communities, improve access to healthcare & address factors increasing malaria risk.

OCHA’s partners are supporting public health authorities with response coordination & awareness & prevention efforts.

Khadija lost 3 children due to lack of medical care. They have no doctors, nurses or ambulances. The clinic is 60km away. She rears goats for income but faces persistent food & water insecurity due to drought. She hopes for action to supply healthcare & clean water to her family.
