▪️The number of children in Emergency Accommodation has increased by 43%

And yet incredibly Government spending on housing is running 30% behind this year.

Where is the urgency?

Water should never be privatised.

In more than 235 places around the world privatised water infrastructure had to be brought back into public ownership at a huge cost after years of chronic under investment.

We need a date for a referendum to guarantee public ownership.

Over 100 people living in Tathony House are facing a mass eviction.

The landlord is claiming financial hardship to justify this - despite taking in an estimated €700,000 rent.

I asked the Taoiseach what the Government will do to stop this mass eviction

Sharing beds, sleeping in cars, sexual harassment, overcrowding and rampant scamming.

These are realities faced by renters in Ireland today while over 160,000 homes lie vacant.

The drip feed of allegations regarding An Bord Pleanála is undermining public confidence in the planning system.

The internal report into the board must be published.

There needs to be full transparency and accountability.

It's outrageous that an entire block of renters can be evicted so the landlord can maximize profits.

In most Europeans countries it's illegal to evict people in order to sell a property.

People who pay their rent shouldn't live in fear of homelessness.

House prices increased by 12% in the last year, surpassing their Celtic Tiger peak.

The profits of Cairn Homes more than quadrupled to a staggering €27.1m in the first half of this year.

Increasing the supply of affordable homes is the best way to bring down house prices.

The average age of someone buying a home has risen to almost 40 according to the CSO.

Homeownership shouldn’t be exclusively for those on the highest incomes.

We need thousands of affordable homes built every year.
