Behind every flashing light is a roadside worker, and every roadside worker is a member of the community. They are not just nameless figures, but a person with a life outside of their job. The least you can do is move over, slow down, and pay attention. #NotJustRoadsideWorkers

The Ohio State Highway Patrol and ODOT continue to coordinate to promote safe driving in Ohio’s work zones. Our enforcement efforts focus on speeding, driving impaired, distracted, or recklessly. This initiative is not only protecting road workers but all travelers of Ohio's roadways.

According to AAA Travel, overall domestic travel on #LaborDay weekend is expected to be up 9% compared to last year, with the peak travel day anticipated Friday. ODOT will work to suspend as much road work as possible, but real-time travel information is available on OHGO.
