The essence of learning is personal which is why it's so important to connect with students at an individual level. With small group meetings and personal goals set for students, Marysville Schools is providing multiple literacy check-ins for their community of learners.
During my Navin Elementary visit, I saw multiple literacy strategies and instructional supports, all informed by data. Educators provide specific interventions, which can include reading workshop rotations, phonics instruction and vocabulary development. Everything connects!
