Congratulations to D123 alumna Shamier Little on her Olympic debut! She helped lead the women to victory in heat 1 of the 4x400m relay and became a silver medalist in the mixed 4x400m relay finals. Let's all cheer her on in the women's 4x400m relay finals tomorrow, August 10.

Who's ready to get back in the classroom? Tomorrow is the first day of school for 1st-8th grade! It is also an early dismissal and school ends at 11:30 am. We can't wait for the 2024-25 school year to officially begin!

The D123 Early Learning Center welcomed 250 families for orientation events. These excited Lions explored their new classrooms, met new friends, and checked out the new playground. We can't wait to see everyone again for the first day of preschool on Monday, August 26!

Last week, Oak Lawn-Hometown School District 123 welcomed the Early Learning Center with the first week of Pre-School! We celebrated with a special luncheon for the ELC teachers, paraprofessionals, and service staff.

Don't forget! Tomorrow, September 4, is our first late start of the school year! School will begin at 9:30 AM for K-8. AM Pre-K will be 9:40-11:10 and PM Pre-K will be 1:30-3:00 pm.
