Despite its benefits, there are still legal implications that must be considered. Specifically, the potential negative impact on politics and influencer marketing is a cause for concern. Alia's LLM dissertation from The University of Edinburgh provides valuable insight on this topic.

Do not mistake activism for opposition. In fact, I see no hope or future in the opposition for me to align with them. They are an accomplice to our suffering.

And yet some dying at the hospital as a result of lack of electricity. Basic electrify which you can't provide. Where's the future?

I believe we the young and liberal minds have realized how the two dominant political parties have destroyed this nation in entirety. Is not time to say “End of an Era.”
Whatever cause we are united in as a nation, we have the power to conquer it.

Countrymen! Our call is not to come out on the street and cause chaos, kindly join the call for change by protesting a failed system in your own space. Wear black on Independence Day to show your support. Let's stand together to demand a better future.

Even the Gov't knows that there's nothing to celebrate. Prayers are all we need now. We'll join them to pray for our beloved nation. Or parhaps there's no money to celebrate. You way don buy polo for celebrate, kushe o!

Our choice to wear BLACK on Independence Day is no way to sabotage T-shirt vendors but to protest a failed system. 63 years of systemic failure. Gov't past and present should bow their heads in shame.

What privilege are we talking about? Even if you have the money to pay for water, you can't access it in your home. You have top-up in your meter, but you cannot access electricity. So, where's the privilege? No one is privileged in SL.

We have nothing to be happy about. Since 1961 we've been treated as children of a lesser God. Necessities are a privilege. We have no right. We wake up every morning to a life of uncertainty not knowing what the next hour will bring.

Even my elder brother's side is dark, bless the moonlight. You see the crisis spears no one even if you have a government job. 63 Years pan blackout.

They traded our democracy with the Millennium Challenge compact, worth 4 million dollars and more, just to consolidate power in 2023. This money should have been invested in the energy sector. They don't care about how we live and die.

I'm going to be in BLACK on Independence Day. Clearly, there's no reason to be in our national colours for there's nothing to celebrate. 63 years, no light, no running water, ramshackle infrastructure, poor education etc. what's there to celebrate?

In protest of Bad Governance, since we attained independence, I joined the call to wear black on Independence Day as a way to mourn our nation which these worthless politicians have sent to its early grave. Together we'll rise again.

The other day you were singing the song of sovereignty, how we are sovereign and independent. Today, you are celebrating a loan from apparently a nation that'd wanted to infringe on our sovereignty. Ironic!
