We continue to take action to reduce water pollution through innovative solutions and securing a $50 million annual, recurring commitment to the Clean Streams Fund as part of the #PASenate-passed #PABudget.

Quality and reliable health care must reach every corner of our commonwealth, which is why we worked to ensure the #PASenate passed #PAbudget included a $10 million supplemental payment for rural hospitals and $17.5 million for rural health redesign and distressed hospitals.

#NursingHomes provide needed care to many of our parents and grandparents. The #PASenate-passed #PAbudget is helping to ensure access to these services by including rate increases for nursing facilities and state reimbursement for vital support.

Pennsylvanians must be able to receive medical care near their homes and families. That’s why we made sure the #PAbudget passed by the #PASenate included additional funding for rural hospitals, so even those in remote areas can access quality care.  #RuralHealthcare

Additional funding for #obstetric and #neonatal services is a key part of the #PAbudget passed by the #PASenate. We ensured support for mothers, babies and healthy communities in a fiscally responsible, sustainable manner.

48 states allow struggling #startup businesses to carry forward losses to reduce their tax liability in the next year by up to 80%, so they can get on their feet. PA only allows 40%. The #PAbudget we passed will phase out this penalty, create jobs & strengthen communities.

Affordable, reliable #energy is a must for a vibrant, growing commonwealth. We approved legislation to create the Independent Energy Office to provide data-driven energy analysis and a public clearinghouse for #PAenergy development.
