On Saturday 20th July 2024 both the Braes and Bo’Ness Community Policing Teams attended at the Avonbridge and Limerigg Community fun day events. Everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Last week, Denny Community Officers, PC Millar and PC Valentine revisited The Men’s Shed, Denny, and delivered 5 bicycles. The group will carry out work and repairs to the bicycles before being donated to the local community.

PC Scott and Stirling attended Bonnybridge Gala Day on Saturday 10th August . The event held at Duncan Stewart Park is held annually and was very well attended ,with perfect weather this year!

Today, Friday 23rd August 2024, the Braes Community Policing Team conducted speed checks in the areas of Avonbridge, Reddingmuirhead, Slamannan and Standburn. During this time, three drivers were warned regarding their speed and a further two were charged for speeding.

Officers from Grangemouth Community Team assisted by Response Policing Officers carried out roadside speed checks in the Braes (Main Road, Maddiston) and Grangemouth (Abbots Road). Seven motorists were warned regarding their speed and one conditional offer issued.

Community officers within the Falkirk area will be conducting additional patrols around local primary schools. Officers will be providing education and enforcement regarding parking and other road safety concerns.
