On the 18th July and every day I remember my mate, our brother, Ben Ranaudo who was killed in action 15 years ago. In the same IED blast Paul suffered significant life changing injuries including having his leg blown off. #LestWeForget

In 2021, Premier Steven Miles was part of the City Deal Leadership Group that demanded the Coalition Government fund a Townsville Concert Hall, which we did. Now, his government has binned support for the project. Why does the Qld Premier hate the people of Townsville so much?

Great to be at the Grey Matters Olympics. This is a fantastic initiative hosted by Community GRO that champions our Residential Aged Care communities in Townsville and brings them together around fun and friendly competition.

The Australian flag is the symbol of our nation, I am proud to have served under it as soldier and now as a member of parliament. The Australian flag to me means freedom, the freedom of thought, speech, religion and opinion. We are a great country united under our 🇦🇺 flag.

Good luck to the soldiers of the 3rd Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment as they compete in exercise TIGER DINGO in South Korea. They will test their warfighting skills against 9 other countries. I was honoured to provide some Australian flags for our boys to fly proudly!

Today my thoughts are with the innocent lives of those who died in the September 11 terrorist attack 23 years ago. We will never forget.
