Long before I was a doctor I was a patient. And I was on an injectable med. Because someone assumed I was using the needles/syringes for drugs - who cares what I was using them for? - they went out of their way to treat me poorly and made me avoidant of interacting w/ healthcare.

It’s perfectly valid to choose a Covid vaccine based on how it makes you feel! There’s no evidence that ⬇️ side effects from the Novavax vaccine means it is a less effective vaccine and the side effects of the mRNA vaccines are a major factor as to why most have stopped.

There are a huge number of Americans who were initially vaccinated and have stopped getting yearly shots. Some of them would be willing to resume vaccination if they knew that a non-mRNA option with less side effects is available. ⬆️ vaccine uptake benefits everyone.
