It's #CarersWeek and the theme for this year is 'Putting Carers on the Map'. We are delighted to share that this week, we will reach 3500 Carers Identity Passports that have been issued! The Carers Identity Passport helps ensure Carers are recognised, valued and respected.

Patients who've been discharged from Kilverstone ward will now receive a text message asking them about their experience. Kilverstone is the first ward to trial using text messages. Patients can also complete postcard surveys or a digital form via a QR code on the ward.

We are organising an event on 21 June, 9:30am to 4pm , to provide information on how staff can support better inclusion and autonomy in healthcare for people with Learning Disabilities and how carers and families can use our services to support their loved ones.

We're launching a Call for Concern service from Monday 1 July in support of Martha’s Rule. It'll be run by the Recognise and Respond Team, a team of nurses specialising in the care of very unwell patients and patients recovering from critical illness. orlo.uk/Mcf0W
