Congratulations Jocelyn Formsma, of Moose Cree First Nation, who received the Indspire Award for Public Service! A great night celebrated by Victor Linklater Patty Hajdu and Oshkaatisak Council members. Meegwetch, Jocelyn. You are an inspiration!
Congratulations to all of the #IndspireAwards winners. Your stories, your work, and your dedication are powerful reminders of what it means to make this world a better place.
You're leading the way for the next generation.
Félicitations à tous les lauréats des #IndspireAwards . Vos histoires, votre travail et votre dévouement nous rappellent avec force ce que signifie faire de ce monde un endroit meilleur.
Vous ouvrez la voie à la prochaine génération.
I’m here with Patty Hajdu to share key takeaways from the budget that matter to constituents:
$9.5B allocated to funding things that truly matter to Indigenous communities such as:
✅Boosting the capacity of schools.
✅Investing in new schools.
✅Housing.
Fairness for every generation. That’s the promise of #Budget2024 .
The plan: building more homes, faster, making life more affordable, and creating an economy that works for everyone.
We’re working to make sure everyone has a fair chance to succeed.
To make the tax system fair, we're going to make sure the ultra-wealthy pay a bit more.
#Budget2024
ONPHA welcomes the housing initiatives in #Budget2024 , most significantly the new Canada Housing Plan, which is a positive step forward in tackling our current challenges. We will continue to act as a key partner to help ensure a seamless and equitable rollout for maximum impact.
The MNC is pleased to see #Budget2024 include important investments in the Métis Nation. While investments in economic development begin to address the Métis Nation’s needs in this area, there remain gaps in key priority areas. To learn more, visit shorturl.at/xFT01
