In every batch of #postcards I buy are inevitably a few of these, the anonymous house photo. Usually posted in an envelope and with a faint imprint of the postmark in the paper. Each with its own set of unique architectural clues. Does anyone walk past one of these each day?

The remains of Harrington Barracks, demolished after WW2 and now the base of a seaside car park. Coastal erosion now reveals the debris bit by bit. #WallsOnWednesday

Today’s #postcard puzzle. Some sort of outdoor service, there’s a church sign by the entrance but is it a ruin? A notice board for the South Eastern Railway, an ivy clad sundial and a glimpse of the street beyond. Any guesses as to the location?

Our piece together the clues #postcard for today. There’s a lot of finery on show considering we are outside a barn. Who is presenting what to who? What are the strange potted plants about in the foreground? 🤔

There were some suggestions that my #postcard yesterday may have featured Queen Mary. By way of comparison here she is along with an interesting selection of European royalty. Jolly looking bunch aren’t they!
