Want to see me ask Peter Stone and cynthia breazeal awkward questions (the fun kind of awkward) about robots at SXSW next year? Great! Vote for our panel and let's MAKE IT HAPPEN! panelpicker.sxsw.com/vote/153152

Great to see this survey on successes of deep #reinforcementlearning for #robot deployment! There is much more to come over the next years. arxiv.org/pdf/2408.03539 Shameless self-plug, Dhruva's paper finally occupies that last free cell in table 2. Bingo!

This paper is a shared-authorship effort with Takuma Seno, along side Kenta Kawamoto, Kaushik Subramanian, Peter R. Wurman and Peter Stone. This work was done during my internship at Sony AI. A special thanks to everyone at Sony AI, PDI and SIE for allowing this research. (7/7)

Check out our new survey paper on DRL for Robotics! This paper offers a great opportunity to rethink the role of RL in Robotics in the era of foundation models, and I look forward to seeing more exciting achievements of DRL in Robotics in the coming years.

Looking forward to teaching this new course on "AI literacy" open to all undergraduates, with no programming experience necessary. It will be based on last year's 1-credit-hour course (cs.utexas.edu/~pstone/Course…), but now will be a full 3-credit-hour course. Starts this week!
