Last night as I watched the news, I thought about 19C women who fought so hard to have a voice. I hope there are many oppressed people capable of doing the same at the moment. “ #Courage calls to courage everywhere, and its voice cannot be denied” Millicent Garrett Fawcett.

For those interested, this book was called Decent Exposure. It's now been issued under four different titles in the US and UK, been made into a Lifetime movie & won an RNA award. The main characters are now in their 50s and reappeared in The Christmas Holiday, my 2022 release!

I started writing fiction almost 20 years ago and find it very strange to see my debut novel (written in 2005) making the Amazon Top 100 for the first time this month! Written pre-Twitter, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Brexit, I guess it's practically a historical!
