Cabo Verde, also on behalf of Portugal and Kazakhstan, introduced today the Resolution on “Policies and Programmes involving Youth”, which the three countries cofacilitated, 80 Member States cosponsored and was just adopted by consensus in the Third Committee of #UNGA78 .

Portugal 🇵🇹 is among the 4️⃣6️⃣ endorsers of the Political Declaration on the Responsible Military Use of #AI & Autonomy.

Military use of AI should be ethical, responsible, accountable & in full compliance with International Law. Human command & control must always be retained.

Portugal provides a 10 million Euros contribution for humanitarian assistance to Gaza.
