Ellie Thomas of Norris Track and Field runs a 2:09.73 800, getting awfully close to the Class B record of 2:08.84 set by Alice Schmidt of Elkhorn in 1999. Alice went on to a highly successful college career at North Carolina and was a two-time Olympian in the 800.
