My message to IBEW members is the same to all workers: Poilievre will say anything to win but he’s never walked a picket line or stood by workers when it mattered. He’s consistently voted for back-to-work legislation. He’s cut health care & jobs. He’s only in it for himself.

Solidarity with Rail Conference workers locked out by CN & CP. These companies are risking the safety of workers & communities, making our supply chain vulnerable to derailments & accidents. Workers deserve safe work. The employers must get back to the table & bargain a fair deal.

Good deals are reached at the bargaining table. Today’s decision undermines workers’ right to collective bargaining. It tells corporations everywhere that if they just drag their heels long enough, the government will help them avoid bargaining with their workers.

“A union card is a ticket to fairer wages, improved benefits, respect in the workplace, and financial security during retirement – so the very people who used to lead anti-union attacks are now cosplaying as pro-union.” Check out my latest op-ed: bit.ly/46UnqxT

What the government did to over 9,000 rail workers was egregious. And the responses from opposition parties showed us who’s on the side of workers and their collective bargaining rights - and who is not.

"Canada's working class is being pushed to the brink. Families do everything right to get ahead, yet groceries, housing, and other essentials fall further out of reach." Workers deserve a better deal! Read our full statement buff.ly/4792YJG
