XC | Getting set for the Raider (Not) Twilight run. Steamy, but cloud cover and perhaps some showers might give a little relief as we get this meet in as early as possible.

Girls 5k coming up in about 30 minutes

XC | Tomorrow's Raider Twilight meet at Ephram White Park has been moved to the AM due to excessive heat.

Come on out...with lots of ice/water!

The boys took 6th of 15 teams! Juniors Simon Basham and Tylei Thomas placed 11th and 19th to medal in a field of 135 runners. This was also Tylei’s first 5k EVER. There are no SRs on the boys side.

Theme here: our Purples are young but we have some feisty ones!

HS XC | Purple/Gold 3K Intrasquad scrimmage run tonight at Kereiakes Park!

5:45pm HS start for warmups & team assignments.

Great run ahead of our 1st meet on 8/19 hosted by Hopkinsville Athletics Department & @countycolonels now just nine days away!

Elementary/JrHigh practices as normal 5-6pm.

Great entry point opportunity for young kids to try running!

Saturdays are for long runs and team breakfast. BGHS runners: 8am at Kereiakes Park tomorrow for extending the distance, creating calorie demand, and filling that calorie demand together. :)

The Kentucky Kids on the Block Scotty's Pound the Pavement run is Sat 8/12! This FREE event for kids in elem+jr high is not an 'official' XC meet but has served as a 'soft start' for local kids for years. You don't have to be on a school XC team for this one!
