Prumnopitys andina - Endangered Chilean endemic conifer. This is no normal hedge being cut by Duncan Young Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. It comprises 50 individuals from 30 wild trees - but most no longer survive in Chile due to logging and flooding of valleys for hydroelectric power!
