Integrating NHS and JCP could be a massive opportunity to provide proper support to disabled people. The goal should not be getting people into work it should be ensuring people get to live a decent life.

We now have a clear indication of where things are at with this government and the benefits system. Political not practical. An approach we have suffered from for at least 20 years. The direction of travel will not change without a herculean effort.

Bad but not unexpected news. The lack of proper support to assist people on to UC will adversely impact disabled people in particular. Support in the community that was previously relied upon at times like this is now almost non-existent.

14 years since the Equality Act. Due to lack of effective enforcement disabled people are routinely enduring the foulest discrimination. It is not even shocking any more.

The state will always be authoritarian, particularly when it comes to protest. This decision does not augur well for those of us keen on justice and liberty.
